An addiction intervention is a life saving proccess whereby loving family members and concerned friends or employers are educated about addictions and led by a trained addiction interventionist for the purpose of helping the addicted loved one with an opportunity to recovery.

Before the addicted person can be helped, those closest to him or her need to be educated and understand their illness, the family need to be trained how to be persuasive and loving with the altermate goal of getting the person to want and agree to getting urgent help today.
